"The Life & Times of Kobe Bryant" is an original, full-length documentary that takes the viewer on the ultimate journey through the legendary career of the NBA legend. A combination of multiple different unique Kobe stories, ranging from his time as a high school kid at Lower Merion, to his final moments in the NBA, this collection captures nearly every one of the Black Mamba's greatest moments:

0:01:39 Chapter 1, "The Air Ball" dives into Kobe's journey from a high school phenom into the NBA's youngest star, as well as the struggles that come with being the first guard drafted straight out of high school.
0:17:28 Chapter 2, "The First Ring" is the story of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal's rise to dominance in the NBA, finally overcoming their playoff struggles, and achieving their goal of winning their first ring in the 2000 NBA Finals.
0:39:40 Chapter 3, "81" is story of Kobe's struggles following the breakup of the original Lakers dynasty, and his self-realization as the game's best player over the course of the legendary 2005-2006 season.
0:54:16 Chapter 4, "Operation Mamba", looks back at Kobe Bryant's Olympic debut in 2008, exploring how his influence saved the culture within USA Basketball.
1:15:19 Chapter 5, "The Final Rings" follows Kobe and the Lakers ascent back to the top of the NBA and their hunt to end a 7 year championship drought, as well as Bryant's hunt to establish himself as an all-time great.
2:06:21 Chapter 6, "Farewell", the final chapter of Kobe Bryant's legendary NBA career. With the odds stacked against him, and many speculating his should retire, The Black Mamba shows the world that he wants to finish his career HIS way... scoring 60 points in his final professional game.

Thank you to everyone who has showed love to this project so far!
A couple quick notes, if you notice some random skips throughout, it's because unfortunately we've been forced to cut a few sections of the documentary (as well as invert the footage in a couple sections) to avoid copyright issues. We are working to get the full project (in it's original state) uploaded onto our website for you to enjoy!
Thanks for watching!

One of the greatest traits Kobe had that often gets overlooked is his absolute loyalty. It became popular in professional sports for great players to abandon their team and join forces with other great players to give them a much better chance at winning a championship... But Kobe (like Jordan and many others) he'd rather build his team and BEAT the other great players, not join them. And the fact that he only wore a Lakers jersey in his whole NBA career truly does speak volumes about him consistently being in the top 2 names of the "greatest ever" players. He was one of a kind.

Great job on this documentary. ESPN might not like Kobe Bryant and might do everything they can to bury his legacy but your proof they can’t shut the people up. Kobe Bryant is one of the all-time greats. I personally feel he’s in the top three greatest of all time and I have him as the greatest Laker ever.

Kobe Bryant’s legacy is defined by his relentless work ethic, resilience, and the inspiring "Mamba Mentality, " which continues to motivate generations to strive for greatness.

As a huge Grizzlies fan, and huge Kobe fan, I will never ever forget that trade. Kobe is my favorite player ever. The Gasol brothers are #2 and #3.

And Chris Mihm was part of the trade but IDK if he didn’t pass his physical or what cause he was never on the Grizzlies…. But Mihm came in and sat at the bar in Downtown Memphis one day shift I was working, like 2-3 days after the trade, and he sat there and talked basketball with me my entire 8hrs. SUPER nice dude. I will never forget that day or trade.

As a San Antonio Spurs fan, I fully respect Kobe and remember clearly how he and the Kobe/Shaq Lakers used to battle my Spurs during the early 2000's. We lost a true legend, and arguably the 2nd greatest player of all time. Thank you for the memories and a true rivalry that I got to experience during that time.

Rip Kobe. 62 in 3 quarters, 56 in 3 quarters, 52 in 3 quarters, 55 vs MJ ! 42 Pts & 8 3s in 1st half, 55 Pts in 1 Half (KD & Kareem Career High 55).... 61 at MSG, 12 3s in a game NBA record (B4 Curry nd Klay broke it with KD)

I was able to watch Jordan in his prime. I was sure there'd never be another competitor like him. Then, Kobe came along and reached that same level.

The reason LeBron doesn't get the same respect as those two guys from the OGs is he's too nice of a guy. Jordan and Kobe were ALL heart (so was Iverson). Those guys left everything on the court and were absolutely fearless. Bron has had instances of shying away from the biggest moments.

I’m a little watching this video. I’m crying for two reasons. The first, of course, is missing Kobe so much. The second is missing real bb being played. Thank you for this video.
