I think this tour just made me appreciate the last two years of 'in bloom' tours even more. - as in it's nice to see the empty space to really appreciate the work that goes into all the blooms. =)

I think that painting/ staining the Gazebo black like the vegetable garden fence would be really striking.

Wonderful tour despite the temporary winter bareness. Love it when you insert clips from other seasons that spark the hope of what is to come! Your enthusiasm delights me almost to tears. We have a beautiful little acre in the country amongst a variety of properties in various states of improvement or decline. People say our property looks like a beautiful park though it's far from perfect of course. I really try to keep things looking beautiful here, but alas as we are in retirement our funds to keep the landscape up as we would like are shrinking. And there are some mistakes we'd like to correct. It's difficult to keep the enthusiasm high when resources are dwindling to get things done. I'm 68 but I still have those excited thoughts and ideas. Don't think I'll ever lose that creativity mindset as you also have! Thanks for your great encouragement to all of us!!

On painting the gazebo... I like it as is but could you paint a big piece of cardboard or plywwod and sit the colors up and leave the painted pieces up against the gazebo and live with it for awhile to see which color you like? I have a hard time deciding too and this works for me. Also a tip I was given was when choosing which shade on the paint card go with the shade in the middle because sometime durirg the day the color will look like the opposite ends.

Russell is the star of the show today. I love it when cats put themself in the middle of things for attention, and then stand there and look away like "I don't even care". lol He is very funny. Your garden looks so clean and ready. I still have a lot of clean up.

Paint the gazebo - picking up the gray tones in your gravel. Gray blends into the greenery so well. A soft, rich gray. Thank you for the pleasure of seeing you gardens in the winter. Mine have felt a bit sad these last couple of weeks, even though they are loaded with cheerful narcissus blooms, but that is only an indication that spring is just around the corner. Yours don't look sad, so you have helped me see mine through new eyes. Thank You!
