How does this even happen? I’m European and abandoning a building like this, especially when you have governmental institutions like police stations or schools, doesn’t happen here. Speaking for Germany at least. They’d tore it down, renovate it or build something new but never just leave a building like that with so many files etc.

I work within police departments in Chicago and believe it or not. They leave there cabinets of smokes tear gas and inter changeable parts for m16 mini 14 stun guns open up for the grabs. Granted they are older munitions but also have boxes of 50k rounds of all variants. Crazy stuff dudes. I’m sure it’s common. They probably opened a new building before abandoning
