Disney World Monorail Route: The BEST Way to Get Around!
Показать описание
Are you trying to figure out how to navigate through the Disney monorail route?
The Walt Disney World monorail system has been taking guests all around the resort from 1971, then expanding in 1982, when the Magic Kingdom was being connected to Epcot.
***As of September 2020, the monorail to Epcot is currently closed.***
Taking the Monorail from Magic Kingdom to Epcot
The monorail is a good option for you and the fastest way for you to connect from the Magic Kingdom to Epcot.
Route from the Magic Kingdom to Epcot
1. Get on the Express Monorail
2. Take that monorail to the Transportation Ticket Center (will be about a 5 to 10 minute ride at the transportation ticket center)
3. Transfer to the Epcot monorail at the Transportation Ticket Center (this ride lasts about 15 minute)
So, allow yourself about 45 minutes of travel time from the Magic kingdom to Epcot, just to get on the monorail, transferring trains and then going through the ticket boots to be actually inside of the park.
This is something for you to remember in case you have any dining reservations at Epcot.
Hipster Power Tip: If you are worried about getting lost at Disney World, you can use the My Disney Experience App, which has a “get directions” feature.

Disney Monorail Route
There are currently three route options for the monorail at Walt Disney World. They are:
1. Express Monorail: goes from the Transportation Ticket Center (TTC) near the Magic Kingdom parking lot directly to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom theme park without stopping and back to the TTC
2. Resort Monorail: goes from the TTC and makes stops along the way to the Magic Kingdom entrance and back to the TTC (resort stops are Polynesian Resort, Grand Floridian Resort and the Contemporary Resort)
3. Epcot Monorail: goes from the TTC to Epcot without any stops and back to the TTC
As you can see, the Ticket Transportation Center is the center hub of transfers for the Disney monorail route.
