Man, when I had bacterial pneumonia, I could definitely see how people used to die of it. I could hardly move. Had to go to the hospital with super high fever and dehydration. First antibiotic didn’t even work. It was months till I stopped coughing, and I was a perfectly healthy 29 year old. I am amazed that this kid can look that healthy with pneumonia!?

My 4 year old had pneumonia one summer out of nowhere. He lost weight and was just miserable. He was prescribed antibiotics even without knowing if it was bacterial or viral. He broke out in hives from the antibiotics and we just did breathing treatments after that and he got better. I’m always worried now when he gets sick if it’s become pneumonia.

Kiddo did great, I wish I had that much energy when I get Pneumonia. I have Polymyositis so I get it every yr like clockwork just before or right on my birthday. This yr was no different but that's the beauty of antibiotics & amazing medical staff that helps us.

I Had A Sinus Infection In December 2021 The Sinus Infection Traveled To My Lungs It Caused My Left Side Of My Lung Was Crackling And Bubbly And I Had Chest Congestion And I Also Had A Really Wet Phlegmy Cough For Three Weeks I Had Cold Medicine Called Robitussin CF I Took That For The Rest Of December

I always hated the "watch and wait" approach. I have never had one of my kids get better without antibiotics &/or hospitalization. It just prolongs the kids feeling crappy and extra copays and time off school/work. Growing up I had constant ear infections, never had tubes, just always antibiotics. With the amount I've been put on I have never had a resistance to amoxicillin.

I was 13 when i got pneumonia and i had to stay in the hospital for 5 days and had to get oxygen every 6 hours.
I woke up in the middle of the night with extremely bad chest pain i could barley breath. Went to the ER had 5 hours of test.
Hardest time of my life😪
