Throwback Thursdays - The Best Keto Candied Pecans EVER!

Throwback Thursdays allow me to introduce newer subscribers to older recipe videos. These are recipes I'm proud of - but they haven't gotten a lot of views due them being released before most of you were subscribers. This series will also allow me to answer frequently asked questions, discuss substitutions, and share any lessons learned.

In this video, I revisit one of my (and my family's) favorite recipes: candied pecans. I've also found that with the new combination of sweeteners I recommend, these pecans will have a crunchy candy shell after resting for just an hour or so.

For those who don't read the video description, I want to point out something I failed to mention in this video. Using the combination of Purcane and Swerve brown on the pecans (the crunchy batch) resulted in that candy like shell after resting for only about an hour.

I Made a mistake!

Added 2 frothy egg white, No water. Didn’t have the pure cane, Used swerve brown only.

Came out very crunchy shell like once cooled. No waiting an hour, though got even crunchier.

This is great Steve. Thanks for doing this. Gets people like me who haven't been with you for that long to see your old videos. That last one wow perfect. Funny I just bought pecans to make a candy that I just saw on another channel. I would love to try yours. I would have to buy the other sweetener you mentioned. Oh yeah Wesley started filming and the neighbors start making noise mowing. And if they live closer to you it's even louder. I live in the country and when your neighbor target practices or when somebody shoots if sounds like they fired the gun off next to you.. Scares the ever living begeezus out of you. 😂🤣😂

These are absolutely amazing! I just made a batch and was astounded at how much they taste like the ones my grandma used to make. They crisped up perfectly after about an hour and have a tasty candy crunch to them. Thank you so much!
