Looks like a C.S. Cavity Slider frame. I just installed one of these and the system is great. Keeping everything level and square with the frame and install the most important part with pocket doors. Slightest bit off wreaks havoc in the operation...

we remodeled my house last fall and I opted for a pocket door as we created a pass through laundry room where one walks through the laundry room to the bathroom. I bought the cavity slider frame. super easy to install and its rock solid. I love it. expensive for a door but worth the money in my opinion.

I removed and replaced a "J" style track with a trolley track. My pocket door is running smoothly now. The surround of the pocket door was a wood product made in 1942. I created a wood triangle device with a pen light combined with a small power drill and connecting rod to remove the old track and install the new. It was a challenge to say the least and I blessed the faeries for helping me to not strip the screw heads. (g) By the way, your pocket door is a work of art and artists. Thanks!

Holy crap, that pocket door kit is over $1000. The Johnson kit is a fraction of the price and can support a door up to 125 lbs.

Beware. I am a door specialist who also installs hardware in homes and am on a job with these tracks right now. The selected hardware isn't working for the homeowners because when closed the self closer is too hard to pull out with common smaller flush pulls they can barely grab. I will be patching and installing the same EMTEK 21xx series mortise locks which have a large enough bail they used here. These are pricey to buy and install but should work fine with these tracks. Nice door you got there

At $600-800. Per pocket frame I don't see many people buying when a standard unit is $150-200.

Pocket doors are a poor choice to block sound or provide privacy. Even when the door is closed, there is still the pocket in the wall allowing noise to travel through the opening.
