Driver was in left turn lane. Looks like he was wanting to make a left hand turn at the light. The distance from light is what can make it illegal. Might only end up with a warning.

Driver was turning left. Officer should have let that slide because no one coming from the other direction could use the turn lane because it was gridlocked. If he went more than a block in the turn lane it’s technically not allowed, but here he’s actually easing the traffic jam and helping flow and should be allowed to do so.
