Since I'm not yet familiar with vitamix, I strugled with the lid and gently tried to turn it...this is the moment I seeked for youtube help and came across your video. 3:35 is the part that would have interested me the most.
Because it sounded like the blender started running too fast because the consistency got so thick that an air bubble formed and the blades didn't hit anything.
That at least the common issue I had when trying to make nut butter.

Great video thanks! I just purchased the E310 with the 48 oz container. I heard that making butters and milks can scratch the inside of the container. Is this true?

Works very well, but is a real pain getting all the nut butter out…as with most blenders of this type…
It’s a good idea to make a smoothie with the residue, which helps clean it out…

I have the explorian and I am disappointed. My smoothies and margaritas come out like snow and the liquid does not blend equally, the ice melts quickly. Please help???

Hi from Paris France Henry :) discovered your channel after seeing this video. And I was like 'oh maaaan"... I've ordered this model as it's smaller and will probably fit most of my needs i.e. smoothies, nut butters and nut milk plus, good blenders are hard to come by here😁. Can't wait to make my own PB now as good PB is hard to find in France lol. 👍

A little about me, so you get a better idea of my needs. It's just me, so no big family. I plan to do a lot of cooking from scratch, so I expect to use the blender often. I know for sure I want to buy a dry container and the aer disc. I do like the switches as opposed to the digital but I open to digital. I want to stay up to date. Thoughts on digital vs switches? I want the self cleaning as well
