The front grill of the Forester has the same look as the Subaru Ascent so maybe Chevy copied Subaru but it is not likely that either of these companies copied the other since the designs are done long before the autos are introduced.

I wish the Subaru Forester kept the actual grab handle on the doors rather than just a "hole" to grab to close the door! The 2018 was the last year model that came with the grab handles on the doors!!!

i initially hated it, but it's growing on me. i definitely want the wilderness which i hope changes that front end. thats what i hate most is the front end, but i have hopes the wilderness will be different

Some people are going to like the change and some people just hate change in general. Especially when you’re looking at a function over form car company like Subaru. I, for one, like the design. I have a 2020 Forester and felt like the design was started to get more and more dated looking. Thankfully this looks more modern.
