I don't use sunroof, didn't want a turbo, I can't wait to get the keys to my 2025 white premium

Not having a turbo option is a plus. Makes the engine more reliable to be without it

No none of these are annoying. 180hp is not less ots enough, the screen looks awesome better than what some overpriced companies give like 7 and 8 inches

I love my Forester more. I don't share any problems you have with it, especially when reaching for the sunroof.

Had a 24 Outback XT Limited. I really dont miss it. I absolutely love the Forester Sport in River Rock. In the shop getting detailed and a hitch installed. Im in an Outback Wilderness loaner and cant wait to get back to my Forester.

In my country, we’ve got a 1.8L turbo with 300Nm and an S:HEV in the lineup, so performance-wise it’s not annoying at all.

Dont open the sunroof all the way if reaching that far is too cumbersome for you

Why is a no turbo option a con??? Thats just less things that you need to worry about. Avoiding a turbo is definitely the way to go

I got 2023 wilderness. I’m definitely buying it out after the lease is up. To each their own obviously but the redesign makes these awesome cars look like mini ford explorers.

I own a 2025 premium. I completely disagree and feel you rushed this shit to get out a quick video!
At 6'2" I have never once thought my sunroof was hard to reach. Turbo options not being available on the forester is nothing new, the last forester that had turbo was a 2018 XT. As far as the bezels they are to protect over time the lcd screen as if you miss pushing a button it's not your screen, less scratches. I also don't think it looks bad at all and a massive upgrade to what Subaru's interior looked like even 5 years ago.
Want to hear a good review with someone who has had 3k miles and have driven it for 3 months, these will be comparable to your pointers I'll do 3.

-As far as the sunroof goes when it's open because of the larger size and the angle of the screen lots of times it will cause a sun glare and I either am blind, have to wear sunglasses, or close my sunroof that is truly an annoying aspect not the easy reach.

- As far as the Engine goes the auto start and stop is great. I like to use it to save gas at long stop lights when I'm one of the first to roll up to a red, or in drive thru's. One annoying thing is when parking and shutting off forester with this feature on. It activates on braking to put your vehicle into park, then the engine restarts just the shut down and turn off because it won't turnoff completely in that function.

-LCD screen again the bezels of all things bother you. The lack of ram and slow start up is the most annoying thing by far. The backup camera is quick to fire up and anything safety wise but the first 30 seconds moving from one function to the next is very laggy. After initial startup it's fine. It also takes a bit for SirisXM to startup lots of times I'm backed out of the driveway and rolling down the street before it fires up.

Those are very very small issues even the ones I've pointed out. I usually can find a lot more issues I have with vehicles and and super happy with the forester. Fast enough for my highway needs and can get me through 45 degree angle gravel washed out roads you find here in Missouri. I could list 100 things I love about this years forester!

The Forester used to have the split screen but doesn't anymore. The Outback used to have a single large screen but now has a split screen and is boxier than the Forester. Trading places.

I'd say not having a turbo is a good thing. It's great if you plan to get rid of the car in a few years, but down the road the entire turbo system becomes a major PITA. Turbo seals, oil lines, etc that start failing. I'd definitely give up a bit of power over having to deal with those headaches.

Also I have a turbo on my outback and it’s not necessary in my opinion. Just eats a lot of gas. My old Subaru Forester Sport had just as much pickup with more mpg.

Sunshade no problem for me, and I'm short. Glad no turbo as they put strain on 4 cyl engines 100% of the time for the maybe 5% use. I appreciate the non-digital controls surrounding the screen. Should mention the (stupid) electronic parking brake, glare on the screen, and how dusty the piano black gloss surfaces get. Just saying.

I think you forgot to mention the loud engine, intrusive start stop function, and lots of cabin noise.

Those 3 things aren’t annoying at all. I rather think CVT is the most and only annoying thing about this vehicle

Those are whingy nothing items, none of which would stop me buying. 1. You can lock the shade in to close it with the roof glass, or just try harder. 2. No turbo on its competitors either, and its not the car for that anymore and hasn't been for ages (like RAV4). Get something different that has a turbo if that's your preference. 3. The massive border suits the buttons for quick access to primary items as well as keeping the screen big, you are scraping the barrel for complaints.
Thanks for securing a great reason to not watch you channel; there are many other reviewers that do better, who aren't 17 years old.

Not having turbo is great. Turbos are terrible, nothing but problems. 👍🏼

You don’t want a turbo …. You’ll have problems down the way … and turbo engines don’t last as long. As far as the sun shade . Don’t push it back all the way
