Trump Threatened by Highly Educated Black People: Michelle Obama
Показать описание
Barack and Michelle Obama delivered blistering critiques of Republican nominee Donald Trump while painting Vice President Kamala Harris as the heir of their historic political legacy in addresses that capped the second night of the Democratic National Convention. #barackobama #obama #dnc #harris #kamalaharris
Both offered their traditional appeals to reach across the aisle and make the case for Democratic policies to voters skeptical of broadening government or feeling neglected in a trying economy. They said the groundbreaking candidacy of the first woman of color to lead a major party presidential ticket had returned joy and hope to national politics.
But in an election sprint both warned would go down to the wire they offered rebukes of the Republican standard-bearer.
The former first lady drew rapturous applause when she played off of a remark in the first presidential debate, saying Trump might not realize that “the job he’s currently seeking might just be one of those Black jobs.” The former president mocked his Republican successor suggestively over his obsession with crowd size and called him a danger to the nation.
