I visualise time as a very sharp point moving only forward at a constant speed. Our consciousness is at the very peak of the point on this time spike. All events that happen, are on this point. You can't see behind the point and you cannot see in front of the point. Time is the 4th dimension. Enjoy the ride!

Even our thoughts are movement, and we could travel at the speed of thought into the future relative to our physical bodies . But our memory of a future event or location would be skewed upon returning to the present time and thus following the arrow of time until reaching what we would presume to still be there because the "arrow" of time does not track along the movement of space

I feel that time is the result of the existance of objects and their interactions in the universe.
Let's assume that the universe was mostly empty and that in it were only a basket and a ball. Everything was standing still, even the electrons inside the atoms that made up the basket and the ball were frozen, unable to move around the nuclei of their atoms. As you can imagine, without motion there would be no time, it wouldn't matter if a day or a millenia went by, everything remaind the same in its original position. Now let's assume that the electrons of the atoms that made up the ball and basket started to rotate, that would initiate time itself, as it would also start the measurable deterioration of the two objects. If time exists is thanks to objects that move in space. Same about gravity, without motion there would be no gravitational force.

If time is the fourth dimension, then the past, present and future must exist at the same time. This also enables time-travel (both physical and non-physical) to be mathematically possible.

Absolutely as clear as mud. Perhaps it might have good if the essential terms such as Block Universe, Simultanity, and even the word “change” were defined in a comprehensible manner.

Time is the 4th dimention yet we can only see it partially. If you draw a straight line you get one dimension of length but in order to draw a straight line, the line has length and at least a plank of width that the one dimension creature can see but only partially. Draw a two dimension box with legnth and width and the drawing has some height from your pencil leaving its mark. We live 3 dimension and can partially see the 4th dimension but in a 4 dimension universe we would experience time different.

Tennis ball?? Not all is fixed..past present & future all connected with each other... There are actions & reactions.. This is how interaction works... For tennis ball there must be action for moving this tennis ball... There must whole scenarios change if one act differently.. If serve wrong then ball goes into net & all time distance stop there... If two players rallies for long then there will be different outcome.. Game will last longer... Again time space changed... So there r many possibilities for many actions... How we interact with each others defines our future & our destiny
