I'm 24, oily, combination. Just wanted to share my experience with the rejuv sets I've used before = Mica Skin, Prestige (2x) in the last 2 years. Hindi ako acne prone before and i only wanted to get rid of my acne marks. Naentice lang din ako sa kaofficemate ko na super haggard naman pero after ilang days/weeks naging super glowing BIGLA. She recommended me to try rejuv dahil nakakawala daw yun ng dark marks. Back then, hindi ko alam kung ano ang mga rejuv sets and i didn't do any research. I only relied on the reviews ng mga tao. And yung naging resulta sa friend ko.

PROS:
- Yes, naglighten (kahit papano) yung dark marks
- Mabilis magdry ng pimple
- Evident na iba talaga yung glow unlike before. Napupuri ako ng tao (which felt good, AT THE TIME)

CONS:
- INTENSE PEELING to the point na nakakadiri.
- After the kojic soap, SOBRANG DRYING ng feeling sa face.
- SOBRANG HAPDI ng toner as in nakakaiyak na levels hahaha

Do i recommend it? Definitely NO.
Not knowing na sobrang daming active ingredients ng lahat ng products. I stopped using it nung nasatisfy na ako sa results. Pero when I stopped using it dun na ako nagka-break out, tapos ako naman to si walang alam sa skin care, inulit ko pa siya bes 2x in the next few months para di na ako magkapimple.

Until grabe na yung mga nangyari sa face ko. My face became SUPER SENSITIVE. And parang numipis siya unlike before. Nasira talaga ang skin barrier ko. I had cystic acnes, & also inflamed acnes na walang pus, & matigas lang siya pag hinawakan. Nagkapimple na ako even sa cheek areas, neck area. Until I decided na magpacheck up sa derma, & until now I am still treating my face kasi sobrang dami niya bez. Kaya please resort to other skin care nalang instead of this. At least it happened to me para maiwasan na rin ng iba. Di siya dahil hindi ako hiyang, or walang maintenance. It's really not recommended sa dami ng ingredients. It's so much better na mag-regular skin care routine, at least in the long run maganda ang resulta unlike sa mabilisan, na maganda nga ang result pero short period lang naman, and you'll suffer the consequences pa. Your choice :)

madami na akong whitening soaps na na try pero di akp satisfied sa results.. after gumamit ako ng cetaphil bar luhh ang ganda ng effect di sya puti lang healthy yung skin mo wala talagang dry.. then niacinamide naman for face ayun never na akong nagkaka pimples tsaka pasin ko maliit mga pores ko di na din ako nag ooily

Last night I was crying and desperate because I've been suffering for breakout since quarantine and I was tempted na what if mag rejuv na lang kaya ako? Then after watching your video parang natakot din ako na baka mas maging worst pa yung skin ko if mag try ako ng rejuv . Sabi mo nga kuya dun sa isa mong video if my problem derma agad hanapin but sadly because of the pandemic I do not have the chance para magpa consult :( I don't know if ako lang ba yung nakaranas ng worst breakout ngayong quarantine. I expected for glow up but glow down yata nangyari sakin :( ang sakit sakit marinig sa ibang tao na "Anong nangyare sa muka mo?" "Ang kinis kinis mo dati" "Kung ano ano siguro ginagamit mo" :( like ginusto ko ba sinadya ko ba hays. But anyway thanks kuya kahit hindi okay skin ko ngayon I feel better kapag napapanood ko mga vids mo paano ba itreat ang skin ng mas gentle, for at least I might struggle for now pero mahalaga hindi ko na maranasan in the future yung mga possible side effects ng dahil sa hindi ko tinreat ng maayos or nag try agad ako ng nakakatakot na rejuv considering na teenager pa lang ako.

I love how informative this is. I used a rejuv set way back 2018 before it was a trend. It gave me really good results (though I didn't really have problems with my skin that time) I kept using it. Fast forward to September 2019, I had intense breakouts! And wala ng nag work sakin. It's like nasira ng rejuv set yung skin ko. Wala ng ma tolerate. Anything that stings is not gonna be good for your skin in the long run.

Things I find problematic with rejuv sets:

1. The presence of fragrance and drying alcohol along with tretinoine and hydroquinone which already causes sensitivity in order to do their job in our skin.

2. The AM creams that is only in small container, knowing the recommended amount of sun protection need, that is not enough.

3. The peeling is caused by the over exfoliation and purging (according to Cassandra Bankson, peeling and pimples are both purging) due to the actives specifically tretinoine.

4. They are promoting instant miracle results that leads to hype and many users who got hyped end up messing their skin without proper understanding on how the ingredients work...

5. For those sensitive skin people, AVOID USING THOSE.

Using rejuvenating set is one of the biggest mistake I ever did on my skin. But, when I discover this channel of kuya jan i'm so thankful kasi my skin is getting back to normal and my skin elasticity is now better. Very True, happened to me. Lahat ng sinasabi ni Jan Angelo is the truest. Iniwan ko yung kojic soap sa face ko like 30 secs lang and it dried my face and I developed pigmentation and blemishes. Maybe dahil sensitive or nag react yung allergies ko. Good thing, I watch this channel. Now I know how to take care of my skin. 😉

Great explanation! Peeling doesn’t mean its working! Its a skin reaction because of irritation!
