Remember the 2000s?
The 2000s were so much better.
Everything was better in the 2000s.
Here is the 2000s.
If you don't remember, you did not have a childhood.
You were not a child.
You retroactively did not exist.
Remember Invader Zim? It was a good show!
You're too young to remember. It was a good show!
We had Bush. You don't!
Things were better then.
Now all is lost, Including hope, which is dead.
We had:
The Gamecube
McDonalds
Cartoon Network
Nickelodeon
Disney Channel
Amusement Parks
The Internet
Spongebob
iPods
Silly Bandz
DVDs
YouTube
My Little Pony
Hot Wheels
Fruit Snacks
Dunkaroos
9/11
Shrek
We had Shrek.
What does kids these days have?
Nothing.
The 2000s are over.
All that's left is despair
The day the 2000s died, all joy died.
This generation.
They don't know.
They don't know.
Kids these days.
Kids these days.
This generation.
They don't know.
They missed out.

The weird thing is... Growing up back in the 90's, I remember people talking about how much better the 60"s were. In a way, that's why we hated the80's, loved the 60's, and felt sorry for (and identified with) the 70's. In short: generational one-upmanship is frustrating for everybody.

The year is 2540, a student in history class notices something off about his textbook. “How come these textbooks skip the years 1990 through 1999?” The teacher puts his air-marker down on the table, lowers his head, and sighs. “Because…” he lifts his head, a single tear rolls down his cheek, “… only 90’s kids remember the 90’s

I love the way 90s Nick's corpse grows flowers at the end as if to show it's him who's actually missing out on the beauty in the world around him while dwelling on the past.

All these nineties kids act like they were from the best generation, when actually, the best generation was the Stone Age. We had rocks, sticks, caves, infant mortality, no laws of regulation, and dinosaurs. These nineties kids need to shut up and realize that they're generation is nowhere near as good as my generation.

I got to experience both the 90s and the early 2000s. The latter had a strong feeling of being a sequel or extension to the 90s for some reason. I know I'm not the only one to notice this.
