This is a 1/2 hour video to show how to get the SAMA5D4 Xplained Ultra board up and running with various displays including

The SAMA5D4 board has a load of potential and finally I am getting to grips with using it, my hope is to use it for my power supply project as the Master controller but you could equally use a Raspberry PI or other embedded Linux product if you so desire

Well done, you explained in details for SAMA5 users. great work.
What is you suggestions; I am looking for boards like that for using it as a video decoder (mpeg).
I need something ultra low power (as I read about SAMA5D4 -it is seems to be less than 200mA) as video decoder and should be small in size physically.

Yocto Linux (also know as PetaLinux) is one of the worst distros out there. The documentation, available drivers, and package library are all sub-standard. I cannot imagine why Atmel did not install Debian.
Having said that, I am in the early stages of evaluating this board for use with FreeRTOS, so that may prove to be better.
