Applying the herta rudiment with kick drum in 3/4.
Thomas Haake (Meshuggah) and Gavin Harrison inspired me to learn this double bass beat!
I'll make a vid soon incorporating the herta with other beats.

It's the name of the pattern. If you play 2 8th followed by two 4th with alternating sticking it's also a herta rudiment. :)

Brotha was Afro-latino, so the rudiment having a hispanic name keeps the props consistent. Thank you. You're treatment of that flava is 'Supa Correct'.

Sounds more like 3/4 because of the hi-hat 4th notes. Very impressive though.

I can play hertas with the hands but when trying apply it to the feet, it is only the leading foot that I can manage. The left foot is killing me lol
