They may soon allow school students too... Starvation... Private colleges have already thrown all UGC's regulations to dustbins. People who cleared these exams around a decade ago are still working for peas and nuts here and there. PhD has become very common like bit notices... Huge inflation in higher education domain.

As the number of students applying for these exams become less in number, now UGC has woken up and bringing new schemes like NET for phd alone, allowing more students by opening other gates... Instead of screwing all educational institutions to appoint the qualified people only, to teach, its doing all sort of marketing gimmicks to increase sales and revenue... Funny fellows
