THAT was definitely NOT the advice she wanted AT ALL!!! As soon as Dave said “You’re going to cash flow the rest of his education” you could feel the energy of the call shift 😂😂😂😂

These universities are out of control. They’re the gatekeepers for most of these professions and they’re bending the students over left and right. Yikes

Dave never factors in federal, state, social security taxes.

It’d be messed up if her husband left her after she paid for his school

It will never seize to amaze me that Americans say they are “doing great” when asked how they are doing, only to find out seconds later they really are not doing great and 300k in debt.

Sounds like a marriage that's gonna last.

She was very perplexed by paying for his school out of pocket. Almost like she didn’t know you could do that...

"We're on baby step 2 and we just took out a student loan..."

Then you're not on baby step 2 🤦🏻‍♂️

Crystal, send him to ODU it’s way cheaper and nobody cares where he gets his education. I’ve never asked my PT where they went to school, the licensing test is standardized anyway.

The second Dave said "cashflow his school", he may as well have been speaking Greek because she was so shell-shocked she couldn't wrap her head around anything he said. A woman getting a taste of the reality of being the bread winner in a Dave Ramsey scenario.

It always amazes me how rich these folks are and csnt figure out how to live below their means. I make 50k a year but live on 30k a year living on 50k a year would be enormous to me

These large quantities of debt are really manageable within a few years, people just seem to have no financial literacy

Marriage is so temporary today! There’s no way I would agree to pay for his school and hope the favor is returned later. Scary!

I was going to school for PT as well until I realized I was paying 125k to make 70 to 80K the math didn't make sense when I looked at my friend become a RN for 25 to 30K to make 65 to 72k with an associate. We are not taught this as kids but I was well before Dave Ramsey smart up people
