Strymon TimeLine - Dual Delay Machine audio clips

Показать описание

TimeLine provides you with twelve different delay machines, each with extensive control over sonic character and feel. Two independent delay lines can be configured in series or parallel (right/left split). The second delay has independent Mix, Repeat and Time values, and can also be set to track the first delay's knob values.

@Callum Borden - You can set a specific delay time for delay 1 with the TIME knob, but the second delay TIME2 parameter provides delay time ratios of the delay 1 TIME setting. There is no separate specific time selection for TIME2.

It's actually a separate delay machine based off of our digital delay machine. You can add grit and filtering to dirty it up a little if you want to.

Yes. You can set up the Dual Delay machine to either run in series or parallel. :)

@pedal5 - yes, 200 presets, selectable from the front switches. Tap Tempo switch is on the far right. :)

Absolutely. You can use wither the dBucket or dTape delay machines to capture that surf style Shadows tone.

Can you set two separate times while on dual mode? Like 440ms and 225ms?

@kevdog330 Yes you can assign MIDI Program Change messages to access individual patches.

What were the parameters used to achieve the chorus effect starting at 1:18? looovve that sound

Instead of having to hit both the A and B buttons to bank down, can you get a midi controller instead that just has up and down?

I'm searching for the Andy Timmons patch delay sound, can you help me, please.

We actually have never changed the switch design on the TimeLine so that's strange.

Can I use this mode to replace 2 delays feeding into each other, the setup I'm running now? That the only thing that keeps me from replacing my 2 pedals for the Timeline. :P

Hi, this would require some sort of editor software which we are working on but have no release date just yet.

Can anyone tell me how to get close to the 7/8 Dual Delay demo? I've been able to get close to most of the demos by following the settings but I can't even get close to this sound. This is one of my favorite delay sounds. Thanks!

Is there any specific instructions how to make a dual delay work and how to set it up? I cant find any instructions.

When recording in stereo direct. To get the best stereo sound. Should I pan the two tracks far left and right or are the strymon pedals meant to sound more wide rather than a ping pong type sound?

I would really like to know because I am wondering I am doing something wrong or if the sound is meant to be wider rather than bouncing left to right. Thanks!

What bugs me a little with strymon that they are shy of specs in their manual. I want delay times outside those listed in the timeline manual. I do want all down to 5 ms and no holes in between largest amount. On TimeLine it starts at 40-60 ms and you can just get decent chorus sounds at between 10-20 ms. Pity, since it has excellent LFO and modulation. Also, I want above 2500 ms as max. I do long loops and "holds" (not looper). There's no evidence if you can loop with delays or not.

Also no, or very few demos exists of what happens when you do a self oscillating thing. The demos so far are great, but if it's so good at doing retro and tape delays tehy should produce expression pedal demos and how it sounds when the delays are self oscillating and beyond. I like the 200 preset possibilites though. So far, I'll keep my DigiTech TimeBender, and wait until TimeLine II is around. Perhaps.
