Really great improvements. This is what makes you wonder why a games feels as polished as it does. You may never figure it out as a player, but you just know it feels good to play.

You may want to make the shadows on the log and cliff face less intense. The pure black really contrasts with the rest of the game. The new player animations look great tho!

Heavily recommend removing outlines from the bottoms of your sprites, it makes them feel attached to the ground

A recommendation: check if you swing your sword near the water, you will hover above it due to the sword moving you. You may wanna get that fixed if it does that.

Can you make a tutorial on how to animate tiles in love2d from a Tiled map? To be more specific : What are the things you need to do after you have loaded the map using STI (Simple Tiled Implementation)?
