He Played Double Agent... Juan Pujol Garcia...Shocked 😲 🌟

Juan Pujol García hated the Germans, but instead of fighting, he tricked them. Posing as a German spy, he fed them completely fake information—even making up an entire network of spies that didn’t exist. The Germans fully believed him and relied on his reports. In 1944, he convinced them that D-Day would happen somewhere else, making the invasion much easier for the Allies. The best part? The Germans paid him for his “work” while he secretly worked for the British. He’s the only person to receive top honors from both the Germans and the British.

Without it, the D-Day will be a disastrous defeath for the Alliance... and YET, it was disatrous from the start, Alliande couldn't believe that they succeed. He receive 2 honours from two countries... Even the Nazis reconsider as Honorful to be at the empty frontline

Pro tip: if ww3 happens be a spy and then pretend to be a spy for the enemy so you can screw them up and leave.

Honestly he has an incredibly interesting story. He was a Spaniard, during the civil war his wife and daughter were dragged away by the communists. He later crossed the border to the nationalist side in hopes of getting revenge but was mistreated and distrusted leading to him opposing both communism and Facism. After the Civil war during WW2 he “joined” the Nazis and sent false intelligence reports about the Uk from Madrid based on travel brochures. Originally the British thought there was a spy in the UK but realised the intelligence was false due to discrepancies in prices, currency and other aspects of the reports leading to them recruiting him. After he was recruited one of his best operations was misleading the Germans on D-day, he convinced their German high command that D-day would happen in Pas De Calais rather than Normandy causing Germany to station 24 divisions for a second landing there even after D-day happened in Normandy. In the late stages of the war he was personally given the iron cross by Hitler for his “contributions to the war”.

The only problem with this is that D-Day did happen in France. It happened in Normandy France On June 6, 1944.

The same was done in Operation Mincemeat with the trick that allies would be landing in Greece but landed in Sicily.

Hey! This is actually pretty useful historical information. In my History class, we are currently learning about WWII. This is something I didn't quite know, but it's very interesting how he helped the Allies.
