The only thing it would have been good to see is the temp of the Xiaomi when it showed the overheating message same with the rest of the phones after the 3D Mark Test.

So at the end of the day, the Tensor G2 has slightly higher performance/almost the same as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 due to thermal throttling. And it still runs cooler. Interesting.

4:30 this is not a problem. In genshin impact, a very intensive game it got 60 fps with 41 °C, so it isn't. You will get to those very high temperatures only if you test benchmarks or very gpu intensive games (maybe emulators) so I don't see a problem.

Hmm I find it suspicious the 12T Pro is hotter at 46.3 than the other three in the CPU benchmark test yet in your Genshin test, it was a lot cooler with no throttling. Also, there's already another video which the 12T Pro was able to complete the stress test and got 91.9% stability. In the 3DMark app, you can check on scores for the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition which is basically the same as 12T Pro but swapped main sensor.

S22 Ultra Exynos here. With how I use my phone (no gaming) I really don't notice many issues apart from battery life that I think could be better under heavy usage

I just hope next year the sd8 gen 2 is alot better. I'm getting tired of poor battery life from my s22 ultra. If apple keeps getting better and better battery life im switching.

You should include gaming fans in your reviews as well, one test with the fan and one without... That would be interesting as it will show us the true potential of these devices. You might want to include a stand to keep the phones upright though, plus a lot of use gaming fans some are better then others. Maybe include a razor fan

apparently xiaomi does not have power restriction and forces to jump alert, I like that there will be no lag, now I see why in the game test it went very well

If G2 was on TSMC . Not bad at all from Google in their second attempt particularly on a Samsung node.

Protip: use any other os for xiaomi phone because miui will prevent the phone which sucks because the phone itself isn't overheating. It's just a false alarm.

The scheduler of the mi 12t pro is more aggressive than others. Thats why it overheats. I recommend the oneplus 10t that has the same chipset but doesnt have an aggressive scheduler

Looks like someone was lying on their Genshin test or xaomi is limiting resolution hard for Genshin like last time (540p) despite enabling 720p in settings. Watch geekwan if your curious about that.
