Finally a good review on the X1 Gen 10, been searching for the whole day and they're all either ad-like or just talk, barely showing the laptop. subbed

Intel P series takes 25 watts over previous gen U series that ran at 15. They aren’t going to driver their way back down. They need more power and heat to show gen on gen performance gains.

5:41 and 8:58 the wobbling usb charging port triggers me so bad !!! It is 10th generation and they do that ?! What is that gap ? 🤦‍♂😢

Hope you get the Z series Thinkpads. The z13 seems more premium than even this.

Great video! Waiting for the Thinkpad X13s review.

I've had this thing for about a week and can kill it within 3-4 hours of heavy usage. Max brightness with lots of tabs running doing simple work. I'm hoping it gets better with time but to purchase a $1700 laptop that dies in 4, maybe 5 hours max is not awesome.

the red little thing is called TrackPOINT, not "tracking knob" ;)

I would like you to look at the temperatures you get from the CPU, GPU and motherboard. Many other Lenovo with 12th gen Intel series have overheating issues...

Just the review I was waiting for! I think I'm going to skip this and look at the Framework laptop...

Thanks, great. (for my information: which is the video editing that you are using for the cat video.)

I would expect Fedora to work as they ship a newer kernel.

Looks nice and slick. I was in the market for a laptop I would probably go with something aimed more that performance with better thermals but I don't know man that's tempting

Thanks Lon You hit all the points I was interested in great job. I agree with your assessment on work to be done by Intel and working with Microsoft in others to get the battery performance improved. Also PC Magazine gave this a five out of five review which is very rare for them

Great video... thanks a lot.

Please make a video on how to connect and use two Bluetooth speakers at the same time with raspberry pi lite (bullseye)...

Your Amazon link takes me to Lenovo's site.

Lenovo should've gone with Alder Lake-U instead of the hotter and more power hungry Alder Lake-P for this. It clearly can't cool the 28-64W chip, and if this really is an "executive laptop", there really is no need for anything beyond typing emails and joining Zoom/Team/Meet calls. Maybe they could've even set the TDP at 5-9W and made it fanless.

Could you Please tell me, does the laptop have the rubbery coating material that is soft on touch or is it more plasticky? I have seen both in X series. I am trying so hard to find the laptop with that nice rubbery coating, but no luck.
