Just rolled out a few of these for work. Lovely machines. Great review by Lisa as usual.

I’m still using a gen 6 on a daily basis and I’m happy. I’m running fedora and it still lasts 6 hours note takeing. I might put a new battery in it soon but other than that it’s been perfect.

I have had an X1 Nano (11th gen Intel i7) for about a month and it's a great home PC. As you say the display and speakers are really good, as is battery life, it's silly light, and so far no issues running W11 Pro and Linux. My 1st Thinkpad now I know why people like them.

I never truly appreciated the durability and performance of the ThinkPad laptops until I got one for work a few years back and it's been going strong ever since. Will be upgrading soon to the 2023 version.

So I'm new here, and apart from the fantastic review on the laptop (which you and the comment section have convinced me to purchase this laptop), where can I get the shirt you're wearing? It's awesome!

For everyone wondering. THE GOOD BATTERY LIFE IS BACK!!! I had the 10th gen and I was EXTREMELY disappointed. I had a Gen 6 and I was getting a consistent 6-8 hours and I loved it. When I got the 10th gen I was getting 3.5hrs on casual use. Absolutely HATED it, heard that they put the U series back into the 11th gen and the problem was solved. I'm so happy I get 9-10 hours on my thinkpad now. SO thrilled SOO happy!!! For anyone considering it you'll be pleased. The laptop feels nicer than Gen 10 too. The keyboard is more firm and doesn't feel thin like it was on Gen 10. Had to write a long comment because I'm a die-hard thinkpad fan and they finally fixed all the dumb mistakes they made last year so if you have the money you can confidently buy this laptop knowing that you'll like it. Super super happy

Thank you Lisa for your top level reviews! I'm still using and loving my HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15 that you reviewed and labeled as one of your "Best of the Best" devices - which laptops would be on your Best of the Best list currently?

Aren’t those two little fans making a loud high-pitch noise? It is usually better to put one bigger fan in terms of accoustics

Great video, as always, and also nice t-shirt! Why not leave affiliate links so that we can also buy them and help your channel that way? They are always so cool! 😊

Ok, I admit: I watch your videos for your t-shirts as much as the gear you're reviewing 🙂

I'm skeptical as my previous X1 got chipped on the edge and the keyboard completely stopped working and the charging port stopped working.

I'm interested in upgrading to this from my old trusty T-25 anniversary edition. What would be the most power efficient configuration? I'm a bit torn. Which SSD consumes the least amount of power and which screen consumes the least amount of power?
