Wordddd Shaq...No doubt the big center knows that firsthand.. They breed tough Samoans in Australia and New Zealand.. they punch above there weight in the world of pro sports but they never seem to be overawed by the occasion..Humble and God fearing people

I know what Shaq meant by growing up hard and he doesn't mean growing up gangster running around the hood. Shaq has a dad who disciplined him and his siblings and gave him asswhippings for being disobedient doing stupid crap. I miss my dad and thinking back growing up, I never had an asswhipping I didn't deserve from him and there were a lot lol, but it taught me to respect people.🇦🇸🇼🇸🤙🤙🤙

Never disrespect your elders in Polynesian culture, with utmost respect though the children's future should always come first, some of us forget our way.

Shaq is talking about Tuas response when his coach was grilling him on the sidelines. Polys are raised to never hang your head or show disrespect when you pay for your mistakes. That’s what he means by “yes sir” “no sir”. Polynesian parents raise their kids to thank god first. Even though he threw an interception and coach grilled him. He looked up and thank god that he had one more chance to make that up and threw the game winning touchdown. Polynesian parents always raised their kids this way. Just so happened to go hand and hand with preforming under pressure. The whole culture is built on strong minds strong body soft heart but will also stop your heart if you’re not careful
