cool things i own & why I love them

Surprise! I'm here on a Thursday ✨

We are right in the middle of the chaos of our move so this week I thought I would quickly show & tell some of the cool things that I'm packing. I talk a lot about using authentic and/or meaningful pieces in interior design so here are some of my favorite little things I own (including my Joe Colombo glass mugs, a ceramic teapot made by a dear friend, a chanukiah flea market find, and other cool stuff!)

My channukiah is also on display year-round! It’s an heirloom silver piece that once belonged to my great grandfather, and it lives on a shelf above my couch. I move it to a different spot when it’s time to use it, but the rest of the year it’s just a lovely addition to my decor that makes me smile.

Love how personal this is! It’s inspiring me to go thrifting again but with more intention now. Btw I would love to hear your thoughts on ikea furniture and whether their products align with your design principles. Also would love to see you speak about wooden furniture (maybe the different types of wood and how to differentiate a great piece to invest in from a not so great one) cuz my parents are super into teak wood furniture

been wanting some Joe Colombo cups since I learned about them from your videos. and now I got my own from marketplace as well! they are clear (not the elusive smokey colour - ill keep an eye out for those) and I love them :D
