I've usually only had luck with spiral extractors if they key has a chance of coming out. Being an automotive locksmith I had no idea U.S. Lock is gone. Wow!! I remember them from back in the day. Probably have a few cylinders in a storage container I haven't opened in 12 years.

Well, I don’t see anything wrong with what you did I would probably did that, too except for if I could’ve went around and went through the front door, I think I would’ve just disassembled the lever took the lock out, took the key out of it and reassembled everything put it back together again Wouldn’t took that long. Besides, that’s where we get our last name Smith. And they call us a locksmith. Anyhow, I enjoyed it. Look forward to your next videos.😂
