At first I thought this song was a way of asking a lover "Why did you betrayed me, after all I've done?" But after listening to this song hundreds of times, I realized it was not adressed to somenone else, but herself, and it was kind of like a mirror, I saw myself in this song. She feels lonely, even though she thinks she must be "happy on her own", and her own company shoul have been enough to cope with sadness and loneliness, but being by her own only causes mores pain, "makes her cry". She, like I am, is fighting something that has her drowned in darkness "trying to find the light", she is her own enemy, but she still claims that she is fine, restarting the internal struggle. I can't clearly say how deep this song hits me, but is definitely, one of my favorite songs ever.
