Immortal was always intentionally tongue in cheek; especially in their videos. They were completely aware of how ridiculously over the top they were and did not take themselves too seriously at all. Anyone who watches this and complains about the merits of black metal is a jaded cynic who doesn’t realize they’re being 90% trolled.
