Playing constant 8ths even at this tempo is so challenging for me. That Trane could do so at twice this tempo and additionally make it sound both effortless and musically interesting is testament to his pure genius.

No excuses now! Everyone can improvise over Giant Steps chords after this lovely wrap! Thank you!

Nice practice tempo with genuine swing feel.
Sweet comping! I LOVE the extra altered tones you add. That's FAR more inspiring to practice with than the many MIDI tracks which just play plain chords the same way repeatedly. THANK YOU!

On bass, in Bar 1, I was always playing the original B note in a minor scale, up to the D7. I was playing just to approach the D note. Instead of playing "the minor scale, " this tells me to replace that C# note approach with an Eb as the second note. Then, it will sound like a B major instead of a Bm. And, in Bar 6, I would play a C# note approaching the F#, instead of the Eb major (I learned that C# change off of another type of sheet music). It does make sense playing this way.

at sessions the guitarists sometimes make my ears and brain hurt, but hombre, your comps are so very musical
i often stop playing along just to listen to your excellent and tasteful voicings and rhythmic placement

I have just come to know one of the most impressive sequences of jazz. I like your content so much, there is no channel like yours

I just keep reminding myself to hear a melody instead of learning licks. Gotta get inside those changes and the transitions so they make sense to your ear.
