6S Brushless 2WD Traxxas Slash (Part 1) - TOO MUCH POWER!

I take my used 2WD Traxxas Slash and convert it with a 6S Motor and ESC combo, the Arrma 6S BLX system. I try out the traxxas slash first with 3S, move up to 4S, and before I even get to 6S - I break it!!

Just bought and fit a spectrum Firma 150a smart ESC and motor, had to trim the transmission casing just to fit the motor! Just waiting on my 5mm pinion gears from Amazon to hurry up and get here! This little 2wd slash did great on the vxl 3S traxxas brushless system but this spectrum 6s system has me excited!

So gotta 2wd Slash recently got a 4s lipo and aleady it’s pointing to the stars every time I think of pulling the trigger….realised I can jump to 8s as I have x2 2s lipos already for club racing…..so if you see a small mushroom cloud over London, England that’ll be my Slash taking off lol

Got the hobbywing ezrun 3652 sl g2 combo, . On 3s, after that I upgraded everything I could and love this thing, nearly as fun as my x max.

I am actually supposed to pick up a 2wd slash VXL today, and I have that exact same 6s system sitting at home, I may do this exact same setup

I run a VXL6S system in my slash 2wd, it’s completely upgraded, literally everything lol. I haven’t run it on 6S but 4S is insanely fast and a wheelie machine

I wish you were using a castle 1515 6s motor because I dont want to buy one and it does not fit in the 2wd slash i have. I use the copperhead 1412 black edition 3200kv right now 32p 24/54 and it flys on 3s not getting hot.

I have a 6s slash but I'm using the CASTLE MAMBA MAX PRO

Your rear tires are on wrong sides. You're pulling into the center of the tire and not outward. I did that when I first started I'm rc and learned. I do the Monster Slash and use Stampede size tires and much better traction. 3s on Slash tire not on a clay track is terrible hooking up! I recently started racing circle track with some Mudboss cars and Slash does surprisingly good on 3s. I just added a gyro receiver and we'll see how that goes. Speed runs on pavement on 3S Slash tires was nearly impossible from spinning out!

Try using a low center gravity and use 6s my shocks are springy as shit I got it like that and it has abut 4 to 5 shock spacers I plan on upgrade it to the low center gravity and sway bars
