Oohhh! Both Natalie and Gemma would be perfect! Just, your right, there aren't many films/shows with Gemma that'd match :/ Though, Guy/a Gemma character may work? XD
FEELS! And, I know exactly what you mean, i've read the Hobbit a couple of times before and all the fanfiction i've read that ends up with Thorin *sniffles*, I just cry every time :3.

Well... Even if we are short (you know, I am short as well), I really think dwarves would be all a bit shorter than us. Or, cause Thorin is tall for his kind (king and all), he would be just of the right height. But remember, dwarves are so much stronger and more musceled than human men. Okay, I'm probably taking this bit too serious, but yeah. ))

AND! Same, my dad read LoTR to me when the films came out, and over the years I just bought every Tolkien book I could find - and then, there was the Hobbit, which destroyed my feelings! :P ♥
