GiganticWebsites.com is a project through which I make it possible for people to build truly gigantic websites (thousands of articles each!) at ridiculously low prices. If you have a great domain you want to turn into an amazing website or an existing site you'd like to upgrade/scale, visit our website or check out the One Minute Economics presentation video below:

Please note that this comment is not an ad for a third-party service provider. GiganticWebsites.com is my baby 100% and I will personally be involved in each and every project so as to ensure the website turns out great :)

What in god's name is that chart at 0:30? 1997-2000 2000-2002 overlapping? What is the y-asis? Is the end of the blue line the beginning of the black line? Are they even on the same scale?

Why?!!

Wrong. It started more like mid 1998 and the bubble burst in early 2000. I was there man. I lost a lot of my savings at the time on this shit, cause I was a noob.

People were paying millions for websites worth 10 cents today, so to say the price went "up 5 times" then "down 5 times" seems inaccurate.

my dad knows someone in sweden that made a tech company with his friend in the late 90s. some American investors bought it for 50 million dollars and the company went under a few years later but at that point the founders had already made enough money for a lifetime. crazy
