Tires with a little better grip than regular summer tires would have done the trick

I love how he has road tires on there and expects it to climb a muddy, rocky hill.... (-_-)

All driver error! Put all terrains on and an experienced driver through terrain like that and it would be super easy! This video makes the Juke look like a chump when it's all driver error! Shoulda did research but oh well to each his

Wow what a terrible driver. get a host with real off-road experience to drive.

I only like the juke that they installed the GTR engine, but I think it cost $200K.  As for offroading the juke: 1) it needs offroad tires 2) vehicles with low ground clearance cannot drive in ruts.  Had the guy crossed the river with a little more speed and not driven in the wheel tracks he would not have high centered.  My Honda civic can go on most forest roads simply because when there is a deep run I don't put my tire in it.

it's the tires. those are complete summer rubber. you wouldn't have those on your car if you lived in the Northeast. so perhaps some decent traction and try again.

i put snow tires on my 2wd and it handles mud pits and even went up a mild muddy hill with ease

I could make that with my 03 eclipse...I've actually taken it up on some mountain trails in southern Arizona lol. Just have to have good tires and know what line to take

Wow, this guy needs some "off - road" lessons.  Off road fun means traction!  I don't care if you have a jeep rubicon or hummer, tires are everything.  The video shows some weak looking tires on the Juke.  You need an off road tire.  Second, doesn't this vehicle have a rear dif lock?  I know its listed in the specs on one of the 2015 models. Third, ground clearance is a good thing.  The car doesn't have enough, so it's limited.

What I noticed was that when in 4x4 mode the rear tires didn't turn or spin up at all, which means the system is very ineffective, regardless of the tires on the vehicle.

how about using Real off road tyres because of what i could observe the problema was the tyres had no grip

I plan on buying a Juke this week, and like most people, I don't intend to do off-road mudding. Lmao.

You can make any vehicle look terrible if you have a driver that has no clue what he is doing.

It's our show and we're free to ask for support from our viewers. If they don't want to, that's fine, too. But thanks for trolling.

The same segments are often re-distributed through the rest of our network (YouTube is one of our smallest audiences) and those other audiences don't get the full episodes, so they don't get the double postings like you do on YouTube. Today we pushed #9 into rentals so this segment is the freebie that will stick around. Now, we could just post new episodes as direct into Rental, but we'd rather give our core subscribers here on YouTube an opportunity to see them before their limited.

i had a 08' suzuki sx4 4x4 and could have made up that by stradeling the ruts, my only issue was ground clearince at 5"

The difference between 7" and 9" of ground clearance makes all the difference in the world, that plus better angle of approach on the Xterra (33.2) vs. the Juke (27). Off the rut was a much more dangerous approach for that particular spot and it wasn't our car to destroy in the process of testing.
