😊 Hey guys! We created the Chase Car channel to give viewers a broad overview of the upcoming new cars from the top car manufacturers. We are huge fans of pickup trucks of all sizes: compact, mid-size and full-size trucks. So mostly, we will cover new upcoming trucks, but besides that, here you can find a lot of content about new sedans and SUVs too.
The Electric Vehicle wave sooner or later will become huge, so this type of content might appear on this channel from time to time. But as we are still on the way to becoming fully electrical, we mostly cover fossil cars from many amazing brands.

BMWs were considered to be reliable vehicles, 40 years ago. 20 years ago that reliability disappeared, along with all other German car makers. They just want you to buy a new car.

Just bought a new battery for my 2002 BMW 5 series : £ 80.00 quids . That’s about $95.00 US .
Car has covered 406, 000 miles with original engine and gearbox . I did have to replace the torque converter.
Not gonna buy one of the new BMW eyesore EV s . Think I will stick with old faithful : there’s very little maintenance anyway .

BMW's disaster started long before EVs!!! It started with making ugly "cars" for tasteless Chinese market for folks who have no interest in driving, rather only posing! Meanwhile losing all BMW historic fans

A 10-year-old BMW is worth almost nothing. Can you imagine a 10-year-old BMW EV?

KIA’s Ioniq, a $50, 000 car charges $60, 000 for a replacement battery. Every car company that makes EVs has the same problem. Once the original battery fails the car is absolutely useless and worthless.

Smart move to go away from those piece of crap EVs

The price of the cheapest batteries, I wouldn't even pay that for a car, and definitely not EV 🤬

I can afford it, but I know to stay clear of any money pit BMW, especially an EV one. Not a reliable brand long term, in general. My friends auto repair shop always has a BMW in it. Very over rated brand.

Give me my diesel any day over these money wasters. I can travel 1100 kilometres and then refuel in about 5 minutes.
EV’s are a joke and a total waste of my time.

I will never, ever buy a EV crap. Even if they all switch to EV and you can't buy IC vehicle anymore I will still not buy one. I'll buy me a horse.

This shows you would be dumb to buy an ev right now unless you’re wealthy. It’s not time yet for the middle class. That is at least ten years away or more.

I work in government fleet. We had a 2008 Ford Escape hybrid battery die in 2020 i believe. Ford wanted 9K for the battery. Napa wanted 4K for the battery.

KBB value of the car? $1800.00 at the time. Luckily the vehicle defaulted to running the engine all the time, and was still mobile. Mobile enough to drive it to auction. )

I have had several 5 Series - will not buy another until they design a new interior. Slapping a large piece of glass for the dash board is poor looking and a joke.

There's nothing wrong with internal combustion engines in principle, the problem regarding emissions comes down to fuel choice. If a carbon-neutral synthetic fuel can be developed then we can keep using existing ICE's without needing to build loads of new fueling/charging infrastructure. If people are going to pin their hopes on "the next big EV battery breakthrough", they may as well also hold out hope that carbon neutral synthetic fuels can be developed. Frankly, I think carbon neutral synthetic fuels are more likely to be developed in the near future than batteries that can be recharged in 10 minutes.

I can’t think of any reason why I’d want to buy an E.V. - they make no sense.

This again shows the dumb move to go to EVs rather than hybrids first. Hybrids is the clear bridge to EVs

If synthetic fuel can get cheap enough, EVs are home to struggle... Even worse than now.

No viable car line can exist with out a market for used models-with a $30, 000 battery replacement in a car worth $10, 000 who would buy a used EV? Frankly, EVs are NOT "green"-a good efficient IC engine car is much better

My husband and I both ordered 2022 BMW iX 50’s. Mine arrived in May, his in June 2022. After only 3 weeks of ownership, BMW called to say that there was a battery recall on his car and the dealership would send a tow truck to remove it from our property. The dealership gave my husband a loaner. However, after weeks of not knowing when a repair would be made, he did a buyback and ordered a 2023 BMW X5 M50i. I decided to bail out also, I just was not comfortable, with the vehicle anymore. I paid mine off and ordered a 2023 BMW X6 M50i. We both love our replacement vehicles, and rest easy, knowing that we now own safe vehicles. Vehicles that would not explode and cause a fire in our home. I remain loyal to the brand and will remain a customer.
