A guide to using Scoring Express, the collection of professional templates for Dorico — based on the same templates we use at NYC Music Services, an industry-leading music preparer.

Each Scoring Express package is much more than just the templates. It contains high-quality music and text fonts, manuscript papers and house styles embedded within the templates or as separate libraries — all installed in one go, so you can get started right away.

Thank you for this guide. I have still a couple of doubts mainly about the addition of a vocal part and grand staff instruments.
What if, for example, I have a string quartet and a soprano? Since voices have lyrics I wonder if there are some customisations specific for the "voice" so is it best to use the template with voice "Piano vocal", and then change the piano and add the strings, or use the "Quartet" template and simply add the vocal part and then propagate?
The other doubt is about grand staff instruments, so what if I have a wind quintet plus harp? I wonder if there are any unique adjustments for grand staff instruments that won't be propagated from a single staff instrument.
