KRE D Port Pontiac 455 + FiTech EFI

After tiring of dealing with a high compression iron headed engine and vapor lock issues with my carburetor, I decided to replace the top end on the car. I opted for a set of as cast Kauffman Racing D-port heads, edelbrock torker II intake manifold, custom comp cams hydraulic roller and topped it with a FiTech GoEFI 4 throttle body injection unit. No more need for 100 octane fuel and never a hint of vapor lock after this change!

That sounds happy, healthy and smooth.

Are the block internals factory? I've been trying to find some people running a 455 with kauffman or edelbrock heads with stock stoke/bore 455s.

Sounds nearly identical to my 461 stroker. I also used as cast kre heads. I know I went with too small of a cam (summit 2820) but I didn't want to get carried away, like I did with my 76 TA. The 461 is in my 65 GTO with the tripower.
Just out of curiosity, what cam do you have?
