Supabase review: 'The Open Source Firebase Alternative'

In this video, I do a review of relatively new technology in the cloud service ecosystem called Supabase. Supabase is an open-source project which aims to provide software developers with an alternative to Firebase. I have been using Firebase for over three years and thought I would try it out and let you know what I thought about it.

I feel you on the anxiety. Good on you for being able to even take the first step. You handled it great. As someone who also has terrible anxiety, I am pretty jealous, lol. My mind goes blank and I ramble all the time when I know people are listening, even in work skypes when I know the people I am talking to. As for the video itself, solid and clear speaking (minimal "um..", "uhh..", or mumbling, etc), good understanding and explanation of the content. Keep at it, for sure. You should feel confident, there was no cringe.

Also, Netlify Identity has a similar problem with its identity service. I’m not familiar with Supabase, but the solution I use is to inject the HTML that requires authentication once the Netlify script has run.
