I believe the Kraken was real at one point because you know how back then animals were able to grow really reallyyyy large, yeah thats why i think so...but here, now, today we wont see that anymore and I always wondered why.

The Kraken really existed. died out 200 years ago. The Kraken was more octopus than squid. The body of the Kraken was enormous 40 to 60 m with tentacles of 80 to 100 m.
