One more myth buster-
Wearing Indian sarees is not same as oppression and wearing western style clothes is not same as freedom.

At this point, as an Indian I don't care what "misconceptions" foreigners have about India. India is winning, and will continue to do so, that matters.

Would like to Point out : Wearing Indian traditional clothes doesn't make you feel oppressed & wearing Western Clothing isn't a sign of Modern society or doing it right.

The stereotype that, every women wears indian traditional clothes (like saree) as because it is our clothing & we're proud of it. No one forces us to do so.

Wearing traditional clothes and oppressed should not be in one sentence in the first place.

India is an utterly amazing country. It offers everything from majestic scenery to incredible food. The cities are vibrant and modern... but tradition is still highly respected. The people are intelligent, educated, welcoming and delighted to share their knowledge, experience and hospitality.

If one had the opportunity to visit, please do not hesitate. I have had the most wonderful experiences in India and hope to enjoy many more.

There is no country like India in the whole world. This is a very beautiful country because here no one is rich or poor, everyone lives together. that's why I love my country so so much and I'm proud to be an Indian❤❤🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳(वासुदेव कुटुंबकम्)❤

How is wearing traditional clothes equal to being oppressed? Clothing is a personal choice, traditional clothing has nothing to do with being oppressed.
