Your clear lesson show there are four sounds we can use to pronounce the letter "x". I would have never thought in some Eglish words there is the same sound as we see in "eggs" ... uneXpected :-)
Thank you!

Thanks for that very informative lesson, Greg! I was unaware of those rules. Regarding words such as exam, exist or exactly, I usually hear the initial "e" pronounced like in "bit" rather than like in "bed". Does that have anything to do with northern vs. southern accent?

Thanks, I just wanna add: 1) You are allowed to say 'Igzaektli', as well. 2) Auxiliary.

Reminder:
If I were you should make your research about the letter "X" pronunciation to other languages such as in Spain"s pronunciation of letter X in the word formations.
Example:
Don Quixote: the letter X here is pronounce as "ho" that has been approved by the scholars of Spain.
Besides, in Spain, there are 4 languages that are spoken ( Seville, Catalanese, Barcelona, & Castillian) by the people.
However. the official language among the 4 languages is Castillian means the people who used to live in a castle before.
At least ...you must know too the origin. of X phonics from other countries in order to make your English lesson more interesting & more valuable to the learners & not only British only accent you are trying to build up ...
Enlarge your concept from the origin ( ancient to modernize), motivational approach to the learners..
