Doctors Without Borders, E. Cape Health Dept tackle non-communicable diseases

Non-profit organisation, Doctors Without Borders, together with the Eastern Cape Health Department, is tackling non-communicable diseases, such as diabetes and hypertension in Butterworth.
The five-year pilot programme will see research conducted on ways to address the issues.
Statistics show that the Amathole District has a high death rate due to non-communicable diseases.
And the organisation believes there's a strong need for intervention in the province.
