The titular character is referred to as Little Bear and his bride referred to as Bright Stars in the American editions of the novel, the film adaptation, and the sequels. He is referred to as Little Bull and his bride referred to as Twin Stars in the original British edition and the audiobook version read by the author.

Just want to thank your for doing this, my 10 year old daughter has a hard time concentrating and having her follow along as you read with the book is helping her strengthen her reading skills.

You are a very good reader and have a great voice for this! I was OBSESSED with this book in 4th grade. We were studying Native American tribes at the same time that I was reading it. There was another book that's similar to this story as I recall, except instead of an Indian the kid had a little knight that came alive and they had to defeat a sorcerer or something. Wish I could remember the name of that book.

I remember this book and I've read it in school. I think this person should know that this book is also a movie. As a matter of fact, there's a children's book in the movie and that children's book is Stuart Little.

Good reading, just to much interrupting I think it would be better without it. Thanks!

Horrible Narrator! He at times talks too quietly, including the entire chapter 9. He has trouble reading the words. Worst of all is the numerous comments and tangents, that are annoyingly and ruin the experience. Recaps are unnecessary, just read the book.
