The previous record in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most people using toy guns in a battle was 577. As of late in the evening on 3/12/2016, this event has officially broken the world record by a wide margin. The official tally of the number of participants is still being calculated.

Update 03/13/2016: Official count is 2,289

All the money from the 2,700 $16 tickets go to help victims of the 12/26/2015 Rowlett area tornado.

This particular video is of the 11 years old and younger only nerf battle held shortly after the official record setting battle.
