KFC will partner with Russian company 3D Bioprinting Solutions to develop chicken nuggets. Nuggets will be made using chicken cells and plant material to "print" chicken meat. Any nuggets that it creates will not be vegetarian. KFC does sell a vegetarian option at some of its stores, though it does offer a plant-based meal in the U.S.

Though I realize this may one day be the norm, this sounds disgusting and terrifying.
I can't wait to hear what kinds of fascinating cancers and biological anomalies this will cause with humans.
I am certain this technology will never be corrupted, with food printing companies trying to make an additional 3% margin by cutting corners, which has happened in every other industry.
Greed dominates nearly every industry, what could go wrong?

Is it vegatarian though? Aren't they growing meat in nutrients? Say they synthetically create a perfect replica of a chicken meat cell, then grow the cell in a nutrient solution. Now we got vegan meat, if anything that's more vegan than plans considering no organic matter was used at all in its manufacturing.

However I recognize we are FAR off from just synthetically creating a cell from scratch & currently rely on samples from actually living creatures. But in the not too distant future I imagine this will be possible.
