L4 Work in a Closed System: Thermodynamics for Mechanical Engineers

This lecture is was created for use in Thermodynamics for Mechanical Engineers at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
This video gives a brief introduction on how to use the First Law of Thermodynamics in closed systems. It then goes on to explain how we calculate the work a closed system performs on its surroundings. We conclude with an example for how to calculate work in a closed system.
