The breath is a dear friend that you can drop into conversation with anytime, anywhere.
The quality of that conversation will change from moment to moment, day to day, week to week, year to year. The awareness of this ongoing conversation might change your life. It did mine.

Gently dropping your ties to the exterior and taking time for yourself is not selfish.

When you arrive on the mat remember you are there to experience your body, and your breath. You are there to snuggle up to your truth, what feels like home, what feels honest.

Take the time to drop in.

You may work today to release stress or worries, allowing yourself to be present in this process for the short time we are on our mat. This is our shortest session yet. You are doing great!

Today was the hardest day yet for me, not in terms of the practice being physically challenging, but emotionally. I really didn’t want to come to the mat today, I am feeling all the feelings and spent most of my practice getting distracted and feeling frustrated, but I kept going, I kept trying to arrive at the breath and bring myself back to the present moment.

In that dedication I found myself so grateful that even through the hard times I have learnt to show up for myself and within that practice I am forging an even deeper relationship with me. I strive to never abandon myself again, especially when I’m needed most. So I will continue to show up and continue to be here.

Thank you for reading yoga family and for being on this journey with me! I hope you have the most magical day and have a wonderful practice. BB x

I wonder if you make the videos progressively shorter so that people like me who with gusto on January first will stick it out for long 45 minute session but come Jan 13 when I'm tired, and lazy, and need to drag my ass to the mat can see that it's only 18 minutes and just bite the bullet and do it.

Definitely is helping me build the pattern of yoga every damn day! On purpose or not, thanks Adrienne!

To everyone who is draging this 30 day journey out to what is more like 2 months - it's great that you are still showing up to yourself, even though it's not everyday❤ Having a 3 month old at home somehow let's me feel like I am doing this everyday, when actually I am not. Maybe it's because of the flow between all the videos in the series. Love that!

I almost went to bed without doing Day 12. It's been a tough week as I am nursing a broken heart and the end of a 7 year relationship. I'm so glad I showed up. The end had me in tears when Adriene said, may you always see the truth, speak the truth and feel the Those words were a gift from the universe and I needed to hear that today. Thank you so much Adriene! I needed to release those tears today, and I am so glad I could do that surrounded by the love and support of this community.

thank you! "We don't always need that 90min sweat to get connected to our bodies, to listen to our heart song". Me today: went jogging to release emotions, I felt good, listening to the music. Me on the mat after just a few breaths: in tears, realizing that I was holding a big package of lost and sadness, the whole day, instead of just feel those emotions and allow them to be here with me. Maybe I am not a wag today, but after the practice, at least I feel some integrity. See you all on the mat tomorrow!

I'm doing this challenge in March/April and am not doing it consistently every day but doing it most days. I'm learning to be kind to myself. It's ok to not do them everyday. Just as and when you can. I hope you can all be kind to yourselves too!
