This made me laugh. It reminded me of my sophomore year in highschool. Just like the story, there is always a pecking order with the older classmates getting preference for key positions. Second game of the season and we were getting ate up in our backfield. Our right tackle was getting beat badly. Coach sent me in as a substitute and I changed the game. Not because I had more talent, but because I wanted it more. I worked harder, played better. That's the problem with Junichi. He's taking it for granted that he's going to play because he's a senior. He doesn't make any effort to actually play better. Having natural talent helps, but it amounts to nothing if you're not going to make any effort.

Naoki is truly dedicated to Ayaka, even when Ayaka had that accident that made her bedridden. Junichi sure loved to prove that he is better in everything and claim he can get every girl. He was mad when he found out who Ayaka was related to, and his anger increased when Naoki was selected for the camp. Junichi can claim he is better, but in the end, the way he treated Naoki led to his downfall, especially when it was proved that Naoki was better than him. As for Ayaka, she had a tough time with both her condition and her pregnancy. However, she didn't want that to stop Naoki's chance to go to camp. In the end, she got rewarded with her new child and a second chance on her dream.

Side: - I felt this episode had wasted its use of Masamune and Yakobi. Could have at least shown them doing videos of the soccer camp.
- Nice to see Akakura after not seeing him for a long time.

None of that was ever revealed, I mean, being bedridden, paralyzed, and pregnant at the same time, whatever it was affected her in such a way that she completely loses her ability to move and speak, I feel so bad for her, I can't imagine someone being in such a state
