Why are we wasting tax-dollars on this?? If she can't do the job, she needs to resign.

Separation of church and state.

Her “rights” were not being violated, she chose to take the “law” into her own hands

People need to get over themselves and let people be. Just do you job Karen !

How dare she, as a public servant impose her will and beliefs upon others.

When you're a government official your religion and political bias is left at the door!!!

If you want to be a clerk FOLLOW THE LAW!!!

If your religion is against the law of the land and you can not follow the law of the land, YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO BE A CLERK because you are incapable of following LAW.

If you're a government official who can't do their job due to religion then you shouldn't get hired.

I thought the US was founded on the separation of religion and state.

If Karen’s religion view is conflict to her job, she should not keep or get to keep the job

Ugh..this lady is crazy. Her position is a job not her place to put her religious judgment.

Against her religion? How many times had she been married? How many children did she have out of wedlock? And she's the law of the land. Lady take a seat and be still. 😁😁

I thought the U.S. constitution have separation of religion and state. The U.S. is a religious theocracy country.

Why she mixes her religious belief with her duty as a government official. Strange indeed!

Ms. Davis has the fundamental right to believe what she likes ... but as a public servant, she does not have the right to pick and choose which laws she will follow or which services she will provide

I'm always amazed at how people try and use laws that they clearly are clueless about to save them from the laws they broke

Your founding fathers made sure to separate church and state to not repeat the same problems they had

When you pick and choose what part of a religion you will allow or not then its discrimination. If she also would not sign for anyone that had children before marriage or divorced also then maybe she could claim religious belief.
